As part of the construction and quality assurance phase of the Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project, specialized epoxy and polyurethane (PU) grouting works were carried out to ensure water tightness and structural integrity of critical concrete components.
The scope included precision epoxy resin injections and PU grout applications to seal micro-cracks, concrete joints, and seepage paths in tunnels, dam structures, and intake galleries. The works were executed under the supervision of JVNL—an expert consultancy formed as a joint venture between Norconsult AS and Lahmeyer International GmbH—and in coordination with Sinohydro and JVNL as contractors.
