This project involved the comprehensive repair and maintenance of dam gates at the Sunkoshi Hydropower Station (SHPS), a key river-based hydropower facility in Nepal. The objective was to restore full operational integrity of the spillway gate system by addressing structural wear, water leakage, surface corrosion, and mechanical inefficiencies caused by years of exposure to high-pressure flow and environmental conditions.

This project focused on the specialized structural repair and surface strengthening of the spillway at Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower. The work involved advanced epoxy-based grouting, micro-concreting, and application of high-performance repair mortars designed to resist aggressive hydraulic and chemical exposure in spillway environments.
Through the use of low-viscosity epoxy injection, gel-type epoxy grouting, and M80-grade mortar technologies, this rehabilitation effort enhanced the long-term integrity and wear resistance of the spillway structure.
