Both tower locations were situated on highly distressed and erosion-prone terrain, demanding specialized geotechnical interventions to ensure long-term structural reliability.

A combination of ground reinforcement, micro-piling, and protective surface treatments was applied to strengthen the foundation areas and prevent slope movement around these critical transmission structures.

Scope of Work

Slope Protection Measures:

  • Executed gabion wall installation, surface drainage management, and erosion control layering to stabilize vulnerable slopes.

Soil Stabilization:

  • Applied soil nailing, anchoring, and compaction techniques to improve ground bearing capacity around the tower foundation.

Micro-Piling Works:

  • Installed micro-piles to reinforce foundation stability in weak and slip-prone soil zones.

Surface & Toe Protection:

  • Implemented shotcrete and retaining structures to prevent future slope failures.
